Lord, I confess that I haven’t always fully put my confidence in You.
But now I know that, having been justified by faith, I have peace with You through my Lord Jesus Christ[i].
Because You are my God and You are with me, Your peace is with me[ii]. How can I be afraid when You are with me?[iii] You are my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? [iv] You are the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?[v] Your rod and Your staff they comfort me[vi].
In You I have put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?[vii]
How can I fear when Christ is in me?[viii]
I dwell in Your secret place. You are my refuge. You are my fortress. In You I will trust.[ix]
You strengthen me. You help me. You uphold me with Your righteous right hand[x].
I know that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind[xi].
Thank you, Lord! The arrow of fear is broken. My peace is restored.
AMEN!
